Monolaurin contains the monoester of Lauric acid, a fatty acid, and supports the immune system in defending the body against several different viruses. It does this by disrupting the cell membrane of infected cells, helping to disrupt replication and spread of infecting viruses while minimizing damage to the body’s own cells.
